kurz: absolut empfohlene cd mit outtakes der "the tired sounds of stars of the lid", der "(stars of the lid) and their refinement of the decline" und der "maneuvering the nocturnal hum" plus 2 von nie zuvor und einem von der 12" "the kahanek incident-vol.3".
für solche outtakes wären eine menge ähnlich gesinnter froh, wenn ihnen die als "takes" gelängen. und: mit einem bogen von 1997 bis 2007 ist die konzeptstärke der stars of the lid hier so was wie in einem durchgang erlebbar. plus ein bisschen mehr gitarre und fieldrecordings bei dem einen oder anderen stück.
